The Corinthia Collection was inspired by the architectural ornamentations of the Renaissance period in Italy with its emphasis on symmetry and proportions. The designs and motifs incorporated were influenced by 16th century metalwork, architectural plans, classical columns and friezes, statuaries, inlay work and tile design. The Samuel and Sons Design Studio translated this classical language into an exclusive collection of exquisite, embroidered linen and wool appliqué borders.
