TIMOTHY CORRIGAN is considered one of the leading interior designers in the world. With offices in Los Angeles and Paris, his firm has completed projects in Europe, the Middle East and across the United States. His work has been featured in over 1,000 publications, and 25 countries. Timothy has been honored by design centers around the world, and has been named to multiple top designer lists, including the Design Icon Award, the AD100, Elle Decor-A List, Star of Design, ICAA Legacy Award, Robb Report’s Top 40 Designers in the World, and the Luxe Gold List. He was the first American designer honored by the French Heritage Society for his restoration of several national landmarks in France. Timothy has designed successful licensed collections with several partners, including Schumacher, Royal Limoges, THG-Paris, Fromental, and Perennials. Timothy has two design books published by Rizzoli, the first chronicles the restoration of his chateau in France, and the second features his projects around the world.
MICHAEL SMITH is considered one of the design industry's most respected talents with an international profile of residential and commercial clients. Over the course of his career, Smith has consistently developed a style that has been characterized as a delicate blend of "European tradition and American modernism." His work has been celebrated in two best-selling books from Rizzoli Publishing, "Elements of Style" and "Houses". He is the recipient of many prestigious awards, including Architectural Digest's "The AD 100", the Los Angeles Pacific Design Center's West Week "Stars of Design" and "Designer of the Year" by Elle Decor. In addition, his projects have been featured in such noted publications as Elle Decor, Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Town and Country, Domino, Metropolitan Home, Interior Design, and W.
LORI WEITZNER, principal and Creative Director of Lori Weitzner Design is internationally known for her contributions to the world of textiles, wallcoverings, rugs and passementerie.
Expanding upon her textile background, she has recently launched a jewelry and accessory line under her own name. Her work is in the permanent collections of such museums as the Cooper- Hewitt in New York and The Victoria Albert in London. She is the recipient of more than twenty-five prestigious design awards and her work is featured regularly in the media, including Elle Décor, Architectural Digest, and The New York Times. She recently authored her first book, Ode to Color, The Ten Essential Palates for Living and Design, published by Harper Collins and lectures around the world on the effects of color on our well being.
THE SAMUEL & SONS DESIGN STUDIO, renowned for its innovative trimmings, brings a visionary, fresh approach to interiors décor. Its refined, fully-articulated color palettes and cutting-edge constructions represent a sophisticated aesthetic. Studio collections are diligently developed from a hand-rendered drawing or painting incorporating novel fibers or materials, current trends, or classic textile documents. The transformative vision is realized by intricate changes in coloration, methods of construction, scale and fibers that culminate in groundbreaking trimmings with contemporary contexts. The creative force behind the Studio is Executive Design Director, Marisa Gutmacher, whose trimmings over the past 25 years have been published in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Interior Design, Luxe, Traditional Home, Veranda, and World of Interiors. Among her dozens of distinguished collections for Samuel & Sons over the past decade, she designed the Optix Collection, which won for Textiles + Fabrics in the 12th Annual Hospitality Design (HD) Awards for 2016. Gutmacher is a dual degree graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. Complementing her, the S&S Studio's team is comprised of a number of the most inspired, design-savvy professionals in the industry.
The founder and creative director of Laura Kirar Design is an internationally renowned interior and product designer. Her mission is to foster artistic exploration in all endeavors and to inspire others with art, craft and design from around the globe. Under her direction, her team creates elegant, innovative home interiors and products, from tile and bath fixtures to seating, lighting, textiles, rugs and decorative accessories, with a timeless sensibility reflecting her deep respect for craft, history and innovation. With a degree in sculpture and interior architecture from the Art Institute of Chicago, Laura’s passion for artistic exploration in numerous mediums continues to infuse her work with originality and thoughtful attention to detail. Her extensive world travels and extended time in Mexico are also powerful influences on each project she undertakes. Laura Kirar has made an indelible mark on the design industry as a creator, patron, collector, and connector.
ROGER THOMAS is Executive Vice President of Design for Wynn Design and Development and a recognized leader in interior design for the hospitality industry. He designed the interiors of Wynn Las Vegas and Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, led the interior design of Wynn Macau and Encore at Wynn Macau. For 20 years, as principle of Thomas Design Group, Roger Thomas designed the interiors of the company's many properties, including the Golden Nugget hotels in Las Vegas and Laughlin, and the most important properties on the Las Vegas Strip: the Mirage Resort, Treasure Island and the world-famous Bellagio Resort. Mr. Thomas was twice listed in Architectural Digest's AD 100 and named "Designer of the Year" at The International Hotel and Restaurant Show in New York. Additionally his work has been published in leading journals, including Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, Interiors and Hospitality Design.
