Martin Brudnizki is the founder and principal of MBDS and co-founder of And Objects. Born in Stockholm, he studied Economics in Sweden before studying Interior Architecture in London, admiring designers such as Carlo Scarpa and Dorothy Draper. After roles at leading design firms, he established MBDS in 2000, before opening a second studio in New York in 2012. Now globally recognised, the studio collaborates with clients that include LVMH, Belmond, Rosewood, Four Seasons, and Soho House. In 2015, And Objects, a product design studio developing furniture, lighting, and accessories, with business partner Nicholas Jeanes. The brand opened its first shop on Pimlico Road in 2023, alongside a showroom at MBDS New York. Named among the AD100, House & Garden’s Top 100, and Elle Decor’s A-List, Martin has been described by Wallpaper as ‘one of the best restaurant and hotel designers of his generation.
