The project began with the construction of a wood frame.
Fabric by Voyage was used to upholster the pelmet.
Gilly selected our Au Natural Brush Fringe in Pale Grey to complement the Voyage fabric.
The top edge of the pelmet trimmed in a coordinating 1/2" (11mm) Au Natural Cord with Tape.
The finished window treatment, which includes a pelmet and shade, was installed as part of a cottage renovation.
Our Chrysler Embroidered Border designed by Lori Weitzner pinned to the panels and ready for stitching.
Perfect rows of hand-stitching.
A close-up of the border's mitered corner and hand-stitching of the trim on the pelmet.
Panels and pelmet designs include a herringbone fabric from Lucan Fabrics and our Chrysler Embroidered Border.
The completed window treatment installed in the home of designer Gilly Henson.
Our Skyla Ball Beaded Fringe from the Everglades Collection designed by Lori Weitzner is pinned in place.
The 2" (50mm) Pirouette Border designed by Lori Weitzner has been added, and the zipper is finished.
The completed cushions show how the layering of multiple trimmings creates a one-of-a-kind design.
Fabric from Kate Forman was paired with our Dolce Pom Pom Fringe in Gumball.
We offer our sincerest thanks to Jo Slater of RedHead Interiors and Gilly Henson Interior Design for being part of our second TRIMOLOGY post and sharing a closer look at what goes on behind the design.
