The 2026 Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse

This year’s Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse became home to an inspiring range of imaginative interiors. From a charming children's retreat and classically inspired bedroom to a surreal escape into pattern and color, discover how three designers made every detail their own through dramatically scaled fringe, sophisticated silks, playful pom poms, and more.

CHILDREN'S ROOM BY ISY'S INTERIORS

A delightful children’s room takes shape with a sophisticated eye for detail. Adorning bed curtains center stage, the Cirque Pom Pom Fringe in Cherry playfully draws the eye to the window, topped by a sculptural pelmet traced with the French Grosgrain Ribbon in Cardinal.

Throw pillows below build on a timeless primary palette, balancing the room’s wonderfully inviting whimsy with the tailored Julienne Piping in Goji and Julienne 2-Tone Double Welting in Ciel, Gold Finch, and Cobalt.

Mirroring the checkered daybed, the plush armchair's seat cushion is embellished with the MDS Check Border in Berry by Mark D. Sikes paired with a Cambridge Cord edge in Cranberry.

”THE UNSEEN” BY RACHAEL ROSENBLUM

A surreal escape, this boldly curated sitting area embraces ornament at every scale. Exaggerated Positano Jumbo Brush Fringe in Linen brings statement-making proportion to the sofa.

Colorful Aria Silk Brush Fringe in Blush, Celery, and Wedgewood emphasizes the playful silhouette of Rosenblum's "Lollipop Ottomans."

Graphic Aspen Cable Holdbacks in Blue Sky pull back drapery to reveal a kaleidoscopic world inside the elevator, adding to the countless details that welcome a second look.

PRIMARY BEDROOM BY EMILY ENG

Born from an artful blend of inspiration, from Napoleon’s bedroom at Malmaison and Neoclassical ornamentation to French modernism and organic Japanese design, Emily Eng gracefully embellishes this serene sanctuary with tailored borders, quiet cords, and subtle silks.

A daybed mattress echoes the frame's botanical upholstery with elegantly simple Cambridge Strie Braid banding in Khaki, repeated on a bolster pillow circled by the Loire Cord in Vert de Terre and punctuated at each end by the Orsay Silk Rosette in Celadon and Cream.

Throw pillows above are framed with the Aria Silk Brush Fringe in Snow, paired with Le Jardin Silk Tuft in Snow at each center.

Crowning this sophisticated composition, a narrower width of the Cambridge Strie Braid crosses the tented ceiling, meeting at the central sculptural pendant light. The Strie Braid traces every corner and molding with a trompe l'oeil-esque effect. The scalloped silhouette of the room-wrapping valence below is accented by the same Loire Cord in Vert de Terre.
