This October, Adẹ̀kọ́ & Co. unveiled Palomino, a members club concept for the VIP Lounge at Decorex inspired by Olympia London’s storied past as a stage for spectacle. Drawing from the spirit of equestrian shows, acrobats, and the revival of the British circus, five rooms unfold in layers of fantastical fringe, gleaming borders, and tantalizing tassels.

 

 

 

Guests were greeted at the entrance by the sweeping drama of velvet curtains layered with the Bagatelle Border in Jonquil by Timothy Corrigan and Barcelona Ombré Fringe in Honeycomb. Between them, they frame a concierge counter embellished with the beautiful simplicity of a Harbour Linen Key Tassel in Ebony.

 

 

At the heart of the lounge is the Grand Salon, centered around a circular banquette with a lustrous Oberon Bullion Fringe skirt in Antique Gold.

 

A lavish bar features three tiers of the same Barcelona Ombré Fringe in Honeycomb that invited guests inside. Curtains adorned with the Flórián Velvet Border in Pollen are pulled back around the room, revealing niche seating richly embellished with ochre details

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Inside, curved banquettes are finished with the Bagatelle Cord in Jonquil by Timothy Corrigan, lending tailored definition to each ruched backrest. Throw pillows are framed with the Aria Silk Brush Fringe in Oro, building on the soft luster of this monochromatic scheme. Opposite this elegant seating, two tonal leopard footstools are skirted with the Bagatelle Tassel Skirt Fringe in Jonquil by Timothy Corrigan.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the adjoining Dark Drawing Room, the Orion Studded Border in Gold crowns the chair rail, while the Hair-on-Hide Prism Border in Mahogany underscores the tented ceiling.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In contrast, the more minimal Light Drawing Room is wrapped by a simple Mèrens Nailhead Border in Dark Bay, creating a seamless transition between the room’s two wallpapers. From room to room, each space is a captivating escape that celebrates spectacle, craftsmanship, and the timeless joy of ornament.
